At BrainExa Academy, we are committed to providing quality educational programs, courses, training, examinations, and competitions. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms applicable to fees paid for our courses, programs, examinations, competitions, learning materials, and related services.
By enrolling in a course, registering for a competition, or making any payment to BrainExa Academy, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.
Non-Refundable Fees
All course fees and competition fees paid to BrainExa Academy are strictly non-refundable.
Once a student has been enrolled in a course or registered for a competition, the applicable fee cannot be refunded, transferred, exchanged, or adjusted against another course, student, or competition.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Course and tuition fees.
- Abacus and other educational program fees.
- Competition and registration fees.
- Examination and assessment fees.
- Fees for workshops, training programs, or special events.
- Fees for online or recorded courses.
- Fees for downloadable educational content or digital learning materials.
- Fees paid for study materials, workbooks, kits, or other course-related resources once processing or delivery has commenced.
Course Cancellation
Once a course enrollment has been successfully completed and payment has been received, cancellation requests will generally not be accepted, and the course fee will not be refunded.
This applies whether or not the student subsequently:
- Attends the classes.
- Completes the course.
- Uses the online learning platform.
- Watches the recorded lessons.
- Downloads the provided learning material.
- Decides to discontinue the course.
- Changes their mind after enrollment.
Non-attendance or discontinuation of a course does not make the student eligible for a refund.
Competition Cancellation
Competition fees are strictly non-refundable.
Once a participant has been registered and the competition fee has been deposited, the registration cannot be cancelled for a refund.
No refund will be provided if a participant:
- Chooses not to participate.
- Is unable to attend the competition.
- Changes their mind after registration.
- Misses the scheduled competition.
- Is unable to participate due to personal circumstances.
- Has already received competition-related materials or services.
Where permitted by BrainExa Academy, a participant may contact the academy regarding a possible change of category, batch, or competition arrangement. Any such change will be subject to the academy’s approval and availability and does not create an automatic right to a refund.
Digital and Downloadable Content
Fees paid for online courses, recorded video courses, digital learning resources, downloadable PDFs, worksheets, software, study materials, or other electronically delivered content are non-refundable once access, delivery, or download has been initiated.
If a student experiences a genuine technical problem preventing access to purchased content, BrainExa Academy may, at its discretion, assist in resolving the technical issue. Technical assistance does not constitute a refund entitlement.
Physical Study Materials
Where physical books, workbooks, kits, certificates, or other educational materials are provided as part of a course or competition, cancellation or refund requests after processing, dispatch, or delivery will not normally be accepted.
If an item is received damaged or there is an error attributable to BrainExa Academy, the student or parent/guardian should contact the academy promptly with the relevant details. The academy may, at its discretion, arrange a replacement or other appropriate resolution.
Refunds in Exceptional Circumstances
BrainExa Academy reserves the right to consider exceptional cases at its sole discretion.
Any refund granted as an exception will not establish a precedent or create a general entitlement to a refund for other students or participants.
Where a refund is approved in exceptional circumstances, the amount and method of refund will be determined by BrainExa Academy after considering the nature of the request, services already provided, materials supplied, transaction charges, and other applicable costs.
Cancellation by BrainExa Academy
If BrainExa Academy is required to cancel or discontinue a course, class, competition, event, or program due to circumstances within its control, the academy may provide an alternative arrangement, rescheduling, credit, replacement service, or refund, as applicable.
If cancellation occurs due to circumstances beyond the academy’s reasonable control, including unforeseen events, government restrictions, natural disasters, technical disruptions, or other force majeure circumstances, BrainExa Academy will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement where possible.
Any refund in such circumstances will be subject to the academy’s decision and applicable terms.
No Refund for Absence or Non-Participation
Failure to attend classes, examinations, competitions, workshops, or other scheduled activities does not constitute cancellation by BrainExa Academy and does not make the student eligible for a refund.
Parents, guardians, and students are therefore advised to carefully consider their availability before completing registration or payment.
Payment Gateway and Transaction Charges
Where a refund is exceptionally approved, any non-recoverable payment gateway, banking, transaction, processing, or other third-party charges may be deducted from the refundable amount, where applicable.
